| As part of our relationship with members, Gold Coast Mac finds it essential to occasionally contact them by e-mail. Examples include meeting notices, SIG updates, changes or updates in member benefits, important news for members, or other group business deemed important by the board.
To make this easier to manager, we are asking members to sign up for this announcement service. This is a permission based service which allows us to send messages directly to you, and everyone else on the list.
THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION LIST. Nobody else will send you messages if you use this service. You cannot reply to other members of the list. YOUR MAIL BOX WILL NOT FILL WITH MESSAGES.
This list simply allows Gold Coast Mac to share information with you, and if needed provide a way for you to reply directly to us.
We have a discussion lists involving a traditional list server, but that is completely seperate from this announcement service. If you sign up, you will only get messages directly from Gold Coast Mac, not from other members.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you decide not to subscribe to this list, it does not mean you will never get e-mail from Gold Coast Mac. Some messages will continue to be broadcast by existing methods. However, many useful messages are sent only to to those who are a part of this list. It is a service of membership, and to your advantage, to take part.
