New Membership Cards Available

New Membership Card!

If you’re a member of Gold Coast Mac, we have a present for you, one which could help you save a little money! Starting with the July meeting, GCMac will be replacing all current membership cards with new cards, designed by membership director Dave Game.

The cards follow Apple’s new brushed aluminum look and carry through the look currently used in the Gold Coast Mac website. The cards include, for the first time, the date a member first joined Gold Coast Mac as well as the expiration date, and are a little bit clearer for meeting check-in workers to understand.

The new cards are also printed on a heavier, two sided glossy stock which helps make it easier to take the card out make it easier to take the card out of a wallet. The heavier stock should also last longer in use.

The cards will be available for pick-up up at the July meeting and at all subsequent meetings. Members who want cards mailed to them should send a self addressed stamped envelope to the group’s Post Office box, so your card can be put in the envelope and popped back in the mail. This is the only way GCMac is able to mail cards; otherwise, they need to be picked up at a regular meeting.

Also at check-in, helpers will also have a supply of 60 day temporary cards which can be filled in and given to new members immediately. The change covers all members, even those who have recently been given a card. Old cards should be destroyed when you pick up your new membership ID.
