Gold Coast Mac representatives were on hand at both The Falls and Aventura, and found very different responses to the new music machine.
At The Falls, people were lined up and waiting, while at Aventura, the crowds were much smaller. GCMac representatives handed out literature to the people hungry for the iPod, which included a number of PC users and potential switchers.
Demand for the machine has been so strong, Apple was just forced to delay its worldwide launch because it simply cant build enough of the units to meet demand.
The iPod Mini, in 5 colors, is expected to increase Apples already huge 27% of the world MP3 market.
The iPod Mini will now be available worldwide in July. Stores locally report adequate stocks, but not in all colors.
