Write and Win a New Apple iSight Camera

It could be the easiest prize you’ve ever won, and Gold Coast Mac is giving you a chance to be a winner at the March meeting while helping Tropical Mac in the process!

It’s no secret our newsletter is struggling; staff and volunteer issues have caused publication dates to be missed, and GCMac is currently evaluating whether we will continue to print paper copies or move to an all-electronic version.

But one thing is clear: we need a newsletter, and for that, we need your contributions, and we’re willing to bribe you to take part.

Between now and the March meeting, we are soliciting contributions for the newsletter. Each item should be at least 100 words or more, and will be professionally edited to make you look like a pro. Items can be mailed to former newsletter editor and current contributor Dave Game, a professional journalist who will make you look great.

Articles need to be computer related, and can be anything from reviews, news, opinion, to personal experiences with the Mac. They should be timely, and of general interest, but we will accept anything along those lines. The work should be your original writing.

The more you write, the better your chances of winning! The contest is open only to those who submit an article as outlined above, and the odds of winning depend on the number of entries. Only Gold Coast Mac members in good standing at the time of the contest drawing are eligible to win.

It’s a great way to win one of Apple’s coolest new tools, and in the process, help breath new life into Tropical Mac.

Send your articles to Dave Game at davegame@mac.com today!
