GCMac Honored at Charity Event

The computer contributions of Gold Coast Mac were honored by the community organization Neighbors 4 Neighbors at a recognition dinner held November 2nd, 2002, at La Paloma restaurant in North Miami.

GCMac was one of a number of individuals and organizations presented recognition awards from the group, formed in the wake of Hurricane Andrew to match contributors with the needs of individual. The organization, which is supported by and headquartered at WFOR-CBS4, had changed over the years to offer need matching services and providing community support in times of need.

GCMac was honored primarily for his continued support of Neighbors through designing annd maintaining the group’s website, www.neighbors4neighbors.org.

Neighbors 4 Neighbors executive director Lynn Cameron will be attending the GCMac Holiday Meeting December 4th to formally present the award, and thank our members by raffling off some door prizes provided by the group’s other supporters.
