| This short film shows what goes on in the concession stand, where we turn Beer into Benefits for Gold Coast Mac. |
Gold Coast Mac is fortunate among user groups for its strong member base, consistent volunteer leadership, and strength of programs.A good reason for all of that can be found in the income generating by aggressive fundraising efforts, including our annual concession stand at Miami's Orange Bowl.
Over the years, over $10,000 has been raised by members who donated a few weekends a year to pour beer to thirsty University of Miami Hurricanes fans (and their unfortunate opponents). These funds allowed us to purchase two computers, upgrade to a better video projector, and fund smaller improvements which enhance meetings and member programs.
Now, for the first time, get an inside look at what goes on at the OB, and give a little thought to being on the crew for the next game. This volunteer effort helps make Gold Coast Mac strong, and supports our efforts to make your computer experience satisfying!
