| When Gold Coast Mac and ComputerVillage teamed up to share knowledge and resources, who knew that it would attract national attention, and the interested gaze of Apple computer?
That's exactly what happened, when CompUSA North product manager Kelley Kinsey and GC Mac President Rose Lynn were invited to take part in a panel discussion on reseller/user group cooperation, staged by Apple at the 1999 Macworld Expo in New York on July 20-23.

on reseller cooperation
Rose joined a panel of other resellers and shared ideas with a small but enthusiastic audience, and the entire panel took questions. The whole program was videotaped for Apple by Gold Coast Mac volunteers, so the ideas could be shared with other User Groups.
Apple distilled the ideas into a primer for other groups and retailers, and featured it on its User Group website.
